Let’s go for a ride at the Romantic Train Sagano in Arashiyama, Kyoto Japan.
Autumn has been pushed back for a few weeks.
It’s almost the end of season and the foliage looks amazing.
The train ride was amazing as I expected. Leaves falling when we were passing by.
Started our journey in Arashiyama, Kyoto and took the Romantic train to Kameoka (Just a 1 stop short train ride with scenic views along the river). You can also do this trip vice versa and start in Kameoka and then to Arashiyama (Torroko line).
Went inside the grounds of Tenryu-ji Temple. Admiring their well maintained garden and its historical structure.
I also went to see the boats of Arashiyama. Lots of people enjoying the ride. Quite peaceful part of the river with its slow flowing water.
Before going home, I decided to go for a walk to the monkey park (which I have never been to before). I thought it was just a walk but turned out to be a hike. But it was all worth it. The view and the monkeys were nice.
