Education is a pillar of a developing society. Nalanda University was one of the oldest universities in the world and was burned by Mughal ruler Bakhtiyar Khiliji in 1193. He was an Afghanistani emperor who invaded India and captured multiple parts of India. The question is why did he burn a university that was doing great for society?
