An engaging storyteller from the Disability Network of Southwest Michigan will read an illustrated disability and self-advocacy children's book. After the story, participants will engage in a lively discussion on self-advocacy. This program is for all school age children in grades K-4, but extremely beneficial for students with an IEP or 504 plan.
This program is sponsored by the Michigan Developmental Disabilities Council, and is in partnership with The Arc-Michigan, Alliance for Families, and Charting the LifeCourse.
