Natalia Cortés is a lawyer specializing in International Law currently working at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Colombia. She has extensive experience across private, public, and international sectors which includes her participation in various regional technical groups, including those within the Pacific Alliance and the Andean Community; the negotiation of treaties; and handling petitions and cases within the Inter-American Human Rights System.
Her primary areas of expertise include human rights, gender-race matters, and criminal law. Natalia has also been actively involved in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, both as a participant and as a judge at national and international rounds.
