Most people get fixated on boot camp itself but often forget that its only ONE step in the entry level training pipeline (boot camp, MCT/ITB, MOS school).

Marine Combat Training (MCT) is for all non-infantry (03xx) MOS’s
Infantry Training Battalion (ITB) is only for 03xx MOS’s (0311, 0321, 0331, 0341, 0351,0352)
As of 2020, ITB has transitioned to Infantry Marine Course (IMC) which is a 14 week school all 03xx Marines go through. Think of it as the new ITB.
