1917-D Standing Liberty Quarter. Type I. MS-67 FH (PCGS). CAC.
Fully frosted surfaces are adorned with somewhat speckled toning in olive-russet, champagne-pink and baby-blue shades. The colors are light with an iridescent quality, allowing full appreciation of silky-smooth surfaces. A razor-sharp strike is also easily seen, which feature confirms this coin as a strike rarity as well as a condition rarity for the premier Denver Mint Quarter of the Standing Liberty design. Much rarer than the '17-P Type I in all grades, especially at the uppermost reaches of Mint State. This coin was graded PCGS MS-67 FH and sold for $6037.
