I visited BR hills (Biligiri Ranga hills) in Karnataka to study the lifestyle of the tribe who has been living in the forest since ages. Soligas lead a very unique life in the forest however we see bit of modernization effect on their lifestyle now a days. I visited their small residential areas called Podu and tried understanding their problems. Most of their areas still does not has electricity supply, though the govt has provided solar powered pannels which doesnt work most of the time.
