This week I took a 4-night cruise of 5 Greek Islands with Celestyal Cruises. We visited Athens, Mykonos, Kusadasi, Rhodes, Santorini, Crete and Santorini.
I am always the eternal optimist when I cruise and prefer to take a positive attitude with every opportunity I take to travel and explore this beautiful world. My review of the ship is made through that lens. The Celestyal Olympia is not a luxury ship. It is affordable and practical and fun! Celestial only has 2 ships but they know the Greek Islands like the back of their hands.
Shore excursions were executed with precision and food was fresh and served almost non stop. It was an all-inclusive cruise so drinks were included and available almost 24 hours a day. This included nice wines, tea, coffee, and snacks. You could of course upgrade to a wider selection. There were two restaurants and 4 or 5 bars/cafes. Entertainment was great and there were wonderful activities like language classes, origami, and cooking. And what is a cruise without bingo! It was not fancy but I actually loved the experience. The staff was very friendly and efficient.
There is another video of a walkthrough of the ship but in this video, I share the 10 things I learned about myself and cruising.
Here is the link to the walk through of the ship
