Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has arrived in Tajikistan to discuss the situation in Afghanistan.
He will meet with his Tajik counterpart, Sirojiddin Muhriddin and President Emomali Rahmon today.
The two sides will also discuss ways to promote bilateral cooperation.
Qureshi will also visit Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Iran on the special directions of Prime Minister, Imran Khan.
The consultations aim to adopt a joint strategy to tackle the challenges faced by the region amid Afghanistan’s crisis.
