We were divided into 2 groups. My group and I tested the specific gravity of asphalt. The rest is printing asphalt and Marshall testing.
Last week my group and I did asphalt printing and Marshall testing as well. And this week we swapped jobs. So, this week we did the asphalt specific gravity test that another group did last week.
Our rooms are separate because the temperature matters a lot. The room where I tested (the specific gravity of asphalt) the temperature was cold. Room for asphalt printing and Marshall testing are very hot because you have to make a hot asphalt mixture.
Some of my friends went out for a minute. My two friends and I stayed in the lab while waiting 10 minutes to test the asphalt.
The asphalt specific gravity testing procedure requires waiting 15 minutes at the beginning and then waiting 10 minutes in the middle of the test. My 2 friends got bored of waiting because we had done 5 tests before (now the 6th).
I accidentally saw the golden hour through the glass door of the laboratory. God is awesome! In the midst of my fatigue I saw a beauty that God had given me. I immediately immortalized the moment with friend's phone.
Actually, we are not allowed to bring cell phones when testing except for documentation or reporting purposes. Only 1 phone per group allowed. That's why I don't bring my phone and used my friends phone, Feby.
Love yaa!!✨🥰
