riveting... and depressing
Takes you on a pretty interesting ride, but the end sucks... rather ride somewhere else.
Just depressing most of the way through... kept hoping it would be worth it.

Very Good, Fast Moving and Entertaining
I read this book years and years (and years) ago and enjoyed revisiting it in audio version. I would recommended it for its fast pace and interesting (although pretty predictable) story lines.

A better reader that did not stop for 45 seconds between words and paragraphs. More than once I turn my phone on and off thinking it had stopped working.
Horrible
This is my first Sidney Sheldon book which I could not finish and will be my last one. My niece spoke very highly of the author, so I purchased this one, a big mistake. This book is the most boring story I have even listened to. I still don't know what the purpose of this. Is this a biography of the main character? Or is this a thriller? It seems to go on and on an don about the main character's life, carrier, love... The narrator is no better either. Drawling tone, makes me tired and exhausted.
Still good...
I read this over 25 years ago. I was so happy to find it on Audible. It still satisfies after all these years!!
