The anti-Citizenship Amendment Act protests that took place all over the nation had stirred a massive controversy. India had witnessed a unified movement against the Citizenship Amendment Act. In an unprecedented action by the Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath government, Lucknow district administration officials decided to attach their assets as compensation for the public property they destroyed. Two shops have been sealed for failure to pay upto 21 lakh rupees. A notice was issued to 57 people asking them to cover up for the damages done during the Anti-CAA protests.
