Welcome back everyone guys! The time for my first vlog (is that how we call these nowadays, right?) has come. This is my first ever attempt to do something like this. Spoiler: the best part of the video is by far the latter, so be sure to watch all of it!
Since we are currently venturing deep into the winter season, I took advantage of the recent abundant snowfalls and spent a couple of days wandering around one of the higher pieces of roads of Tuscany, the Radici Pass (Passo delle Radici), where there's also the higher town of the region, San Pellegrino in Alpe.
In the video I've tried to list some tips and advices that I learnt after quite a few years spent shooting this type of landscapes; starting from the basics of landscape photography to the correct use of textures and light, I covered a wide range of arguments all along the video.
Winter is close to being my favorite season of the year (well, autumn has to steal the first place!), and it's often considered by many landscape photographers a time to stop and/or going out less because of the more challenging conditions; please, don't get discouraged by a little bit of cold, go out there and witness these beautiful conditions!
I'm quite aware that there's a lot of space for improvement, from the more technical stuff that I'm still learning till the visual contents, so please be gentle with me as I still need to work out a lot of things! I promise I'll improve for the next ones. Don't forget to click on the follow button if you liked it!
