My favorite way to clean my baseboards is with warm soapy water, a clean rag, and a $30 spin brush.
(I use this spin brush for more than baseboards - it has several attachments and speeds that makes cleaning appliances, and fixtures a breeze!)
Dip the head of the brush into the soapy water, then go to town!
This brush is especially helpful if your baseboards have any detail on them - it gets right inside all those grooves.
And have you checked the baseboards behind your doors?!?!?!
…it gets those, too!!
Once clean, dry the area with your rag… and you’re done!
With clean baseboards, I can more easily see where I might need to add some touch up paint.
… and that’s it!
Good as new!
