In this weeks Wild On The Water video we take you into the world of commercial fishing for Black Cod or Sablefish, on the boat we are working as deckhands on, F/V Tradition, in the gulf of alaska. We make stops in Yakutat, Alaska before heading off to go fishing and then delivering into Seward Alaska. We get a little time to explore Seward and have some fun before getting the boat all stripped of the shelter deck and all of the longline equipment before getting the salmon tendering get aboard and making our way to Bristol Bay Alaska via the dreaded False Pass, Alaska.
