Took a day trip to try a couple of new things. One was to fly on Cathay’s A321-neo and STARLUX on the return.

When I booked about half of business class was booked, but I ended up being the only one in business class.

The seat is nice and even has USB-C! The relatively short flight was bumpy leaving a stormy HKG but the rest of the trip and Taoyuan for the day was lovely.

The breakfast is always good on Cathay, and the service was great.

We had three pilots in this flight so I assume it was a training flight for someone up front.

This was my first trip on Cathay’s A321N and it is a good experience.
