Reaction from the final of the Men’s 3m Springboard Diving after China secured a gold and silver medal double.
Siyi Xie won the top prize with a score of 534.60 as compatriot Zongyuan Wang came in second, scoring 530.20. Mexico’s Osmar Ibarra Olvera rounded off the medal places with a score of 500.40.
In winning gold, Xie became only the third Olympic diver to defend his prize. It is China’s seventh gold out of the last eight in the event, missing out only at London 2012.
