On February 20-21, 2012, Kansas experienced the second worst snowstorm in the history of the state. Over 14 inches of wet, packable snow fell within 24 hours, shutting down schools, businesses, and government offices in Wichita.
We decided to take some 2010 & 2011 Subaru Outbacks and a Forester into an unpaved, snow covered field, where the drifts measured between 12-18 inches high, and we tried to get these vehicles stuck. It didn't happen. The only thing that DID happen was a whole lot of fun!
Subaru's symmetrical all-wheel drive system is balanced side-to-side for maximum stability, and routes power individually to each wheel. In case one wheel loses traction, power is routed to the wheels that do have traction, keeping you moving forward.
There's a whole lot to LOVE at the NEW Subaru of Wichita--brought to you by the same great team that gave you 5 straight years as America's #1 Suzuki Auto Dealership, Suzuki of Wichita. And that's a good thing, because Love is what makes a Subaru a Subaru.
