Yohann Loriot, MD, PhD, Gustave Roussy, Villejuif, France, and University of Paris-Saclay, Gif-sur-Yvette, France, discusses the exploration of VEGF inhibitors in patients with bladder cancer. Unfortunately, most investigations of VEGF inhibition in this patient population have been unsuccessful, demonstrating insignificant progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) rates.
