Route 319 Kirkby Bus Station - Skelmersdale Concourse Bus Station

Todays look at a bus from the vast fleet of Stagecoach takes us for a ride onboard 27261/SN65OCZ on a brand new route, the 319. Branded as trainlink this is one of two former Gold liveried Enviro 300s that were new to Rock Ferry that are for use on the service, with the news that there would no longer be a railway line built to Skelmersdale this is designed to be a link to the Merseyrail network as a replacement for the now axed railway plans. The service runs through areas of Skelmersdale and then along the M58 motorway and straight into Kirkby passing close to Kirkby Station where passengers can then board a Merseyrail train which takes around 20 minutes to the centre of Liverpool. 27261 is recorded along the full route from Kirkby Bus Station to Skelmersdale Bus Station.
