Ashok IAS, says it is not wrong for an IAS officer to become a part of a religious group. B. Ashok was talking to TNIE Kerala about K. Gopalakrishnan IAS being suspended as part of the investigation about him creating a 'Mallu Hindu' WhatsApp group of IAS officers. Although he adds that it is preferable that an IAS officer doesn't do that. Dr. B. Ashok IAS also says that Hinduism is a way of life and that it is not right to say that Malayali Hindu is communal.
