The family of a 20-year-old matric candidate at Vulindlela Secondary School in Kabokweni, Mpumalanga, is challenging the Department of Education after their son was prevented from sitting for his exams.
The school principal allegedly barred Gift Mabuza from writing three exam papers: Economics Paper 1, English Paper 2, and Siswati Paper 2.
That's after the learner failed to attend some extra classes organised by the school.
The learner's mother wants her son to be allowed to sit for these three papers.
