Linzhou Grand Canyon, also known as Taihang Grand Canyon, is located in Shibanyan Township, Linzhou, Anyang City, Henan Province. It is in the northwest of Henan Province and at the eastern foot of South Taihang Mountain. It is 50 kilometers long from north to south and 1.5 kilometers wide from east to west, with a total area of 89 square kilometers. Because it is located in Linzhou, it is also called Linzhou Taihang Grand Canyon.
Linzhou Grand Canyon has high cliffs, towering peaks, staggered platform walls, turbulent Cangxi River and hanging waterfalls, which is a typical representative of "Beixiong scenery". The core scenic spots include: Quantan Peach Blossom Valley with Waterfalls, Baili Gallery Taihang Tianlu, Taihang Soul Wang Xiangyan, Primitive Eco Canyon Rafting, Fairyland on Earth and Xianxia Valley, etc.
On October 31, 2012, Linzhou Grand Canyon was approved as a "national scenic spot". On October 13, 2016, Taihang Grand Canyon was rated as "AAAA Tourist Attraction" by the National Tourism Administration. In June 2022, the Linzhou Taihang Grand Canyon tourist attraction was included in the first batch of Henan provincial cultural and tourism "white list" enterprises.
