NAR settlement takes effect on August 17th, 2024. The settlement changes will impact agent commissions and will set a new era for the real estate industry!

The National Association of Realtors has been a part of American real estate for more than a century. NAR was founded to organize the real estate industry and give agents a voice. Over the years, it developed a strong brand and enforced a code of ethics among American realtors.

However, 2023 and 2024 have been brutal for the industry as a whole and NAR in particular. The news is dominated by talk of antitrust NAR lawsuits. Realtors have been fielding questions left and right. Almost every real estate commission lawsuit has NAR as the defendant.
