A quick demonstration of Jargar Classic strings set on my Cello, medium tension.
I found these strings to have a full, warm and punchy sound, but the lower strings are harder to engage in faster passages. They also lack the clarity of tungsten wound lower strings. Also, after a few weeks the A string started to sound a little narrower than it initially did.
They are however a great set if you are looking to save some cash on what you are buying and a great choice for students.
