On October 28, 2023, at 7:19 AM, a few minutes past sunrise, I recorded this 34-second video of a green-spored parasol mushroom fairy ring on the lawn of the Wind Creek Report Hotel in Wetumpka, Alabama. Folklore suggests mythical and sometimes terrifying creatures dancing within these mysterious rings.

Perhaps some frustrated gamblers had ceremoniously danced during the prior night's nearly full moon along the Coosa River!
