In recent years, foreign enthusiasts have visited Kedawung primarily to see the diesel field work. On this 2012 visit, we saw diesels East, South, West and North of the mill but mainly on mill waste, temporary track and empty cane wagon trains or light engine movements. The highlight is probably the flat crossing with the main PT Kareta Api trains with both mainline and sugar line movements.
