Things heated up today in Lenzerheide for downhill qualifying as the track continued to dry out with high temperatures. Riders looked to find speed on a track that seems to check every box. Puzzling and adjustments took a backseat for the first time this year with riders more focused with dialling line choices, giving Jordi and crew a much needed break. Factory rider Danny Hart showed everyone he means business this weekend with the fastest qualifier, with Greg Minaar close behind in 4th, Loris Vergier 6th, and Dean Lucas rounding out the top ten. Women’s qualifying was lead by Fox Factory riders Nina Hoffmann in 2nd, Marine Cabirou 3rd, Veronika Widmann 4th, Emilie Siegenthaler 5th and Eleonora Farina in 6th. Things could get interesting tomorrow for finals with questionable weather in the forecast.
