In this video, I'll be showing you how to reset your waste ink counter on your Epson XP-520 printer. This method uses third-party software from Inkchip.net to reset your waste ink reading on your printer and will work for other printer ranges also (see the website for details).
You will know to reset your waste ink counter when you have the error message featured on the video or when you change the physical waste unit on your printer.

Please be aware that you may need to check the physical ink in your waste unit, this may be either a sponge or tank depending on your model of printer. Not checking the physical ink level may result in the waste ink being expelled from the printer.
