A peace offering...
I first learned how to make empanadas with @alfrugoniofc when we did some cooking in Key West FL. The key is using the right type of dough, frying in lard, and a LOT of onion that melts into the filling to provide moisture.
I decided to use a 28 day dry aged chuck roast for the filling, which I braised on my @tagwoodbbq2008 grill. Not the most traditional empanada in the world, but it was insanely good!
