Excerpts from the operetta "Die Dubarry" by Carl Millöcker/Theo Mackeben:

2) Wie schön ist alles
3) Denk an die Tage
4) Ja, so ist sie, die Dubarry
Margit Schramm (1935-1996) was a popular operetta singer in the 1960s-70s, with a unique, beautiful voice and perfect German diction. She made numerous outstanding operetta recordings with Rudolf Schock and others under the great conductor Robert Stolz. This precious video clip is from 1967.
"Die Dubarry" was a 1931 revision of Millöcker's unsuccessful operetta "Gräfin Dubarry". Theo Mackeben revamped the score, Knepler and Welleminsky altered the book, and the great Hungarian-Jewish coloratura soprano Gitta Alpar performed the title role, turning it into a huge success. Alpar also starred in an English film adaptation in 1935:
