It’s one of the most under-claimed benefits which up to one million people could be missing out on - ‘Attendance Allowance’ is a benefit for those over 65 living with an illness or disability and can pay more than £400/month. The benefit aims to keep people living at home independently for as long as possible, so the money can be spent on everything from a gardener, cleaner, bills and food or taxis to and from hospital appointments.
