Choliya dance is one of the most popular folk dances of Uttarakhand. This dance is used as a symbol of war, in which men wear colourful attires and perform care-free in their own unique style with swords and shields.
There are a few popular folk instruments used in this dance performance which includes Dhol, Damau, Ransing, Trumpet and Mashqabeen.The jugalbandi of all these instruments and choliya dancers is just mind blowing.
