Very helpful tool
I love this for when you're cooking a big roast or something like that in the oven, it takes the guesswork out of it and just makes it easy. You don't need to necessarily leave it in the whole time, just insert it when you know that whatever you're cooking is getting kind of close to being done, I find it is more accurate & easier to use that way. Also I even have a digital one like this but just like having this in my kitchen because 1) the digital one can't go in the oven and 2) I can use this as a quick reference for whatever I'm cooking in the cases where I use the digital one, and then I don't have to pull out my phone to check what temperature I should aim for (I should know by now, but I still have to check it half the time I cook, oh well, this saves me the trouble).
