Australian Monarchist League’s Damien De Pyle has called out Australians advocating for a republic.

“I think that they need to realise that a lot of the great things that we have here today is because of our constitution,” Mr De Pyle told Sky News Australia.

“Our constitution is based on the fact that we are a monarchy.

“We have the democratic freedoms that we do because we are a monarch.”
