Part two of the “Ethics” panel presented during ABA Criminal Justice Section’s “Seventh Annual Prescriptions for Criminal Justice Forensics Conference” on June 3 in New York.
In 2015 the ABA adopted expansive changes to its Criminal Justice Standards addressing how prosecutors and defense counsel should interact with expert witnesses. Panelists will discuss the difficult ethical issues raised by the preceding panels, as well as the implications of the new Standards and recent court decisions.
