In this video, Liam takes you through the plans for his MK2 Scirocco Engine conversion, and also what other changes he is making to the car. The original 1.6 8 valve engine (that's done over 140,000 miles and was only 75bhp from new) is being replaced with a 2.0 16 valve engine out of a VW Golf MK3 GTI, using Yamaha R1 Bike Carbs to simplify the swap. This set up should double the horsepower with hopefully over 150bhp, making the Scirocco much more enjoyable.
