Its several hundreds years old and its evolved into a wonderful mix of modern comedy and singing they are like musicals but they are topical. They are based on the old stories. There is only about seven or eight titles. Familiar titles include 'Cinderella', 'Aladdin', 'Dick Whittington' but we have also added in recent years 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Sleeping Beauty."

"It works almost naturally. It works almost as though its been implanted in the DNA of English folk if you like. Its there its almost natural that kids will join in. So what you have for example is that you have the villain. You always have a villain in a pantomime its all about good verses evil. So when you have a villain the first thing the villain does is to come on and what do the kids do, they start booing."

"We do put the show together really quickly. Like we only rehearse for two weeks then the shows go on. But the shows are light and frothy and they change they evolve. Part of the shows are improvised not all the of the show is scripted, some of it just happens differently everyday. So you will often get members of the audience coming more than once because they never see the same show twice."
