The Carbon Literacy Project has developed the Sports Kit, an off-the-shelf, fully accredited Carbon Literacy course for the sports sector, which contains a day’s worth of action-based, climate change learning.
In this webinar, we introduce the Sports Kit, how it can be accessed, and hear from guest speakers who were involved in the development of the resource, and others who are currently rolling out the training.
The Carbon Literacy Sports Kit can catalyse climate action at all levels of the sports sector, be it a sports governing body, a professional club, a community team, or a venue. It was developed with support from the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games organising committee and piloted with support from UK Sport and BASIS.
