The shipping industry has seen some steady growth amid the COVID-19 global pandemic. This is according to a report, Safety and Shipping Review for 2021 compiled by the financial services provider Allianz. The study shows that the industry is not able to fully take advantage of the growth in the sector due to COVID-19-related delays at ports and a shortage of empty containers.
