The Curved Roof Rafter is the quickest and easiest way to put more tension into your awning. The curved part of the pole provides tension in the awning that allows water to run off, so your awning doesn’t sag. Because it keeps the awning fabric taut, Curved Roof Rafter also help reduce wind flap (especially when used with an anti flap kit). The Curved Roof Rafter is easy to install. It comes with a mounting plate – all you need to do is drill a hole in your awning drum and connect it to your mounting plate. Then release the toggle, slide the spigot into the hole in the awning drum and screw the arm.
