Wide angle lenses are great, they have wonderful effects on perspective and they provide a view of the scene that is very different from the way the eye normally sees it. The problem is the effect they have on straight lines in an image. A common occurrence is the leaning of vertical lines that is normally referred to as Converging Verticals. For a lot of landscape image that might not matter but, in some cases, the effect can ruin an otherwise lovely picture.
In this video, which was a request from one of my subscribers, I'm going to show you how I use a combination of Lightroom and Photoshop to correct the distortion in an image of a lighthouse.
