3,000 SUB CELEBRATION! In this special session, I thank my followers for the support over the last couple of years or so (or even longer for some!).
Session #5 looks at the latest installments of DOA; Dead or Alive 6 and Dead or Alive 5 Last Round. In this new series I take a look at two different Fighting Games whilst looking to answer the question: What's The Difference?

*Note that this video will output in 4K60fps when fully processed. I don't upload videos in 360p anymore haha
*Additional Notes
- DOA5LR has a highly comprehensive Tutorial, Command Training and Combo Challenges also
- Throws against Break Holds & Break Blows deal 160% damage in DOA6. All other counter holds or parries take 150% damage from hi-counter throws
- Both DOA6 & DOA5LR's story modes are lacking and need to do better
- Both DOA6 & DOA5LR can induce a "Critical Reversal/Critical Finish" by hitting the same move in stun twice consecutively
- You need to hit the opponent twice quickly on the ground to force-tech them up in DOA6
- Sidestep Attacks are incredibly evasive in DOA6 and loses to throws
- The Dangerzone stage is featured in DOA6's "Unforgettable" stage
- DOA5LR doesn't have metered sidestep attacks (SSA's), however each character has a SS~P, SS~K, along with occasional character specific SS moves such as: SS~P+K, SS~T, etc.
- In DOA6, sidewalking (also referred to as FreeStepDodges), can cause linear slower moves to whiff (beware of retracking however)
- DOA5LR has Tag Mode, DOA6 doesn't...
For Directional Notation:
7 8 9
4 5 6
1 2 3
Each number represents the corresponding direction. 1 for "Down-Back", 9 for "Up-Forward", 5 for "Neutral" or no input, etc. Quarter-Circle Back = 214, Quarter-Circle Forward = 236, Half-Circle Back = 63214, Half-Circle Forward = 41236, etc.
Also, for any Canadians, Happy Canada Day~! :-)
