The 2006 movie Amazing Grace, chronicles the story of William Wilberforce and his efforts, early in the 19 century in England, to end the slave trade throughout the British empire. This scene features John Newton, a former slave ship captain, who became a minister and wrote perhaps the most beloved song ever written, Amazing Grace.
On a personal note, this movie is my 2nd favorite movie of all time. It inspires me often, as I recall that seemingly insurmountable things can happen when - with God's help - as men and women work to expand the influence of the kingdom of God into the areas of greatest need - in this case - the ending of the slave trade.
