Playthrough | Part 16: A Tangled Web 3/3 (OP: High Road)

Time for us to wage war on the castle and in the confusion, we pull off a heist very fitting for this occasion. Before that though we get the safe for this area, the Rage Bomb. In fact, we need this in order to get the trophy. It's not easy to say the least. Believe me.

But anyway, time to begin Operation High Road. Murray uses the codes provided by General Clawfoot to dim the lights. Bentley then orders Neyla's forces to go on the attack. With that taken care of, Sly and Bentley head for the blimp and head for the re-education tower. As a result of the defenses dropped, Contessa orders all her troops on the front line. Sly and Bentley arrive and using the terminal, they release Carmelita from her restraints. With her free, she gets her pistol and goes after the Contessa. With the two out, Bentley sets up the bad mojo bomb to destroy the mind shuffler. Unfortunately, in the confusion, Neyla shows up and takes one of the Clockwerk Eyes. Sly goes after her while Bentley gets the other eye.

What follows are events that happen almost simultaneously. First Sly chases after Neyla until she gets ensnared in a spider's web. He takes one of the eyes only for him to butt heads with Contessa. Meanwhile Bentley mans the blimp's turret and takes out some of Neyla's forces. But then Carmelita shoots the blimp down. Bentley ends up in custody for a bit. After a squabble, Sly beats him only to lower his guard as she attacks and takes the eye from him. Sly goes after her while Murray uses one of the tanks to stop Carmelita's tank. He then gets the eye and recovers Bentley. Sly meanwhile has his rematch against the Contessa and despite having the Clockwerk Eye, he defeats her. He recovers the other eye and its mission complete.

Things get even dicey. The Contessa is arrested and brought to trial and to add the salt on the wound, Neyla aka the Hero of Prague is promoted to the rank of Captain. Carmelita is still on the outs with Interpol so Sly has to help her get out of harm's way. It's so crazy. So much so that the Cooper gang got to lay low for a while.
