Chicken Tikka Pulao Recipe
Ingredients:
For Chicken Tikka Marination
Chicken boneless 500G
Salt 1 TSP
Red Chilli powder 1 TSP
Black Pepper 1 TSP
Crushed Coriander 1 TSP
Garam Masala 1 TSP
Green Chilli chopped 3
Ginger+Garlic paste 1 TBSP
Lemon Juice 2 TSP
Yogurt 1 Cup
Cooking Oil 1 TBSP
Cooking oil for cooking process 1 TBSP
Charcoal(Koyla) for smoke
For Rice Cooking
Cooking Oil 1 Cup
Tez Paat 2
Bari Elaichi 2
Darchini 2
Laung 6
Black pepper 18-20
Zeera 1 TSP
Onion Sliced 2 medium
Ginger+Garlic paste 2 TBSP
Tomato chopped 1
Green chilli chopped 2
Salt 4 TSP
Crushed Red chilli 1 TSP
Garam Masala 1 TSP
Water 2 Litre
Basmati Rice soaked 1KG
Green Chilli 4
Charcoal (Koyla) for smoke
Directions:
In a bowl, add boneless chicken, Salt, Red Chilli, Black Pepper, Crushed coriander, Garam Masala, Green chilli chopped, Ginger+Garlic paste, Lemon juice, Cooking oil, mix it well and rest it for 2 hours.
In a Pan, add cooking oil and heat it.
Add marinated chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes.
Now cover and cook on low flame for 8-10 minutes or chicken get tender.
Now cook for 2 minutes on high flame or until water is dried.
Give a coal smoke for 2 minutes.
After 2 minutes remove the coal and set aside.
In a pot, add cooking oil and heat it.
Add Tez paat, Darchini, Black pepper, Bari Elaichi, Zeera and cook for a minute.
Add sliced onion, mix well and cook until light golden.
Add Ginger+Garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes.
Add chopped tomato, green chilli and cook for 2 minutes.
Add salt, Crushed red chilli, Garam masala and mix it well.
Add water and bring it to boil.
Add soaked Rice, mix well and cook until water is reduced.
Add chicken tikka, green chilli, now cover and steam cook for 15 minutes on low flame.
After 15 minutes, give a coal smoke for 2 minutes.
Remove the coal and set aside, gently mix the rice.
Chicken Tikka Pulao is ready to serve.
