Philips held a 'blind' OLED TV shootout in London recently. The test was in two parts with the first Showing the four screens fully calibrated by AVForums to the industry standards. The second part was presented by Philips with the four screens in the shop vivid modes to show how consumers see the TVs in a showroom, focussing on video processing behind the panels. The TVs were the Panasonic EZ952, Sony A1, LG C7 and Philips 9002 and all were 55-inch screens and all use LG Display supplied panels, but with their own video processing engines.

The video features an explanation of how the test was performed and has interviews with Danny Tack from Philips and some of the AVForums members who attended. The event took place on the 8th of November at the London Film Museum, Covent Garden. AVForums calibrated the four displays for the first section of the test.
