In Warsaw, Polish police negotiators successfully convinced a man to climb down from a monument in the city's main Pilsudski Square, which had resulted in a temporary blockade of the area owing to a claimed bomb threat. The person surrendered to authorities and a film of his climbing down and surrender was captured.
