Astana Ride to Glory Video - [ Ссылка ]
Egan Bernal layed down an early marker to his rivals by claiming the queen stage of La Route d'Occitanie.
The stage included three category one climbs including the Port de Bales and Col de Peyresourde before a summit finish on the Col de Beyrede. It was an especially good day for Team INEOS as Russian Pavel Sivakov crossed the line 10 seconds after Bernal.
Elsewhere, in the top ten were Aleksandr Vlasov, Thibaut Pinot, Richie Porte, Warren Barguil and Romain Bardet.
For Chris Froome it proved to be a difficult afternoon as the four-time Tour de France winner finished 32nd, more than five minutes down on Bernal.
Route d'Occitanie is Froome's first race since the lockdown and only his eighth outing since his horrific crash during last year's Criterium du Dauphine.
