No gelatin, no food colour, no refined sugar 😍
Ingredients (for each fruit jelly)
🥮 Fresh fruit juice
🥮 Agar agar - 1 tsp
🥮 Desi khand - 1/2 cup
🥮 Water - 2 cups
Method
1️⃣ Blend fresh fruit to make juice with 1/2- 3/4 cup water. I used kiwi, grapes, pomegranate & orange.
2️⃣ Into a pan mix 1 cup water with 1 tsp agar agar (not on flame) & desi khand. After mixing well, switch on the flame and cook until it comes to a boil (keep mixing). The little crystals of agar agar should’ve been fully dissolved (check with a spoon).
3️⃣ After agar agar powder is dissolved, add 1 cup of fruit juice and cook for 3 mins, continuously stir it.
4️⃣ Now pour this out into a mould and add some fresh fruits. Leave it for 1 hr or so for it to harden to jelly form. It tastes best when cold, enjoy! ♥️
Tips
⭐️ For pulpy fruits like kiwi & seedless grapes - do not strain it. It gives a lovely texture to the jelly.
⭐️ When you add fresh fruits, ensure you fully submerge it in the jelly if you plan to remould it and want the shapes to be retained.
⭐️ To check if agar agar is fully incorporated, dip a spoon into the boiling agar agar & there should be no crystals left on the spoon, which means agar agar is set.
